Every formula is created for clinical efficacy — no fillers, no trends, no unnecessary fragrance. We focus on what works, why it works, and how it supports long‑term skin health. 3. Do you use sustainable packaging?
4. We prioritize materials that can be reused first, then recycled. Our products are housed in glass bottles and jars, packaged in reusable burlap bags, and shipped using paper and cardboard. We use minimal plastic only where necessary. Our packaging is designed to feel elevated, long-lasting, and respect both your home and the environment.

 

4. Are your products tested on animals?
5. We do not test on animals, and we do not work with manufacturers or suppliers who engage in animal testing.

 

5. Do you use clean or “non‑toxic” ingredients?

We focus on clinical efficacy, not marketing buzzwords or scare tactics. “Clean” and “non‑toxic” are unregulated terms, instead, we prioritize ingredients that are proven, purposeful, stable, and safe. Every ingredient serves a function — improving skin health, supporting barrier strength, or enhancing product performance. Skin care products are strictly regulated by the FDA under the MoCRA regulation. It is illegal to use “toxic” ingredients, period! Unfortunately, some brands have decided to promote their products as only using “non-toxic ingredients” as a marketing ploy and scare tactic by accusing competitor brands of using “toxic chemicals”. We do not participate in this type of marketing. We avoid unnecessary additives, including fragrance, because they do not serve a clinical purpose and can irritate sensitive skin.

 

6. In what order should I apply my products?
7. A simple, effective routine follows this order: Cleanse → Receptor Toner → Serum → Moisturize → Protect. This ensures each product performs at its highest potential.

 

7. Can I use your products if I have rosacea, eczema, or acne?
8. Many of our formulations are designed with sensitive, reactive, or compromised skin in mind. While we cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions, our fragrance‑free, purposeful ingredient approach is often well‑tolerated by individuals with rosacea, eczema, or acne. If you have concerns, we recommend consulting your dermatologist to ensure compatibility with your specific needs.

 

8. Are your products safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
9. Many of our products are suitable for pregnancy and breastfeeding, but some active ingredients — such as retinol — are generally avoided during these times. Because every situation is unique, we recommend reviewing your routine with your healthcare provider to determine what is appropriate for you.

 

9. Why does Southern Clinical use glass bottles and jars?
10. Glass protects ingredient integrity, maintains product stability, and offers a more elevated, clinical‑luxury experience. It is also reusable, recyclable, and free from concerns associated with long‑term plastic storage. For us, glass is both a functional and intentional choice.

11. Why don’t you follow skincare trends or viral ingredients?
12. Because trends fade — but clinical results endure. We choose ingredients based on evidence, stability, and purpose, not shifting popularity. Every formula is built to support long‑term skin health, not short‑term hype.

13. Can I use Southern Clinical products with my topical prescription?
14. If you’re using prescription treatments or strong actives, we recommend consulting your dermatologist, if you have concerns.

 

14. Do your products work for all skin tones and ages?
15. Our formulations are effective across all skin tones and are categorized by age, beginning with age 18, to ensure the right level of active support. For example, retinol is included only in products for ages 30 and above, as younger skin typically does not need it. We do not recommend our clinical skin care for children under the age of 18.

 

15. How long does it take for shipping?
16. A. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Delivery times vary by location, but most customers receive their order within 3–5 business days.

18. A. Southern Clinical Skincare ships only within the eleven Southern United States of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia as that is the region for which our products were created to be most effective.
